MVP is expanding its Customer Support base within the U.S. as a result of continued success and is seeking to hire a motivated senior level technical engineer who can fill this role by: Providing technical hardware/software support of company’s inspection system products. Attending tradeshows with Sales Managers to provide technical input as to system functions. Conducting meetings, demonstrates systems and making presentations on hardware/software systems capabilities and product offerings. Performing systems capabilities analysis projects to determine suitability of systems as solutions to customer needs. Preparing capabilities and analysis reports. Offering technical and systems engineering advice. Interpreting system performance and functionality requirements to determine suitability of existing systems. Writing functional engineering specifications for requirements not serviced by existing systems. Participating in sales prospects meetings, presenting technical information and data. Performing program management functions. Lead Engineer in performing engineering and project coordination tasks for advanced applications and for systems development efforts. Testing systems software/hardware during engineering development. Travels 25-50% of the time, nationally and internationally. Job Location: MVP Headquarters in Carlsbad , CA .
Experience must include 3 years in AOI systems, use of data analysis and statistics in assessing machine performance and metrology, application of automated optical metrology systems within the semiconductor fabrication industry.
