Carlsbad, CA – April 17, 2013: Machine Vision Products (MVP), a leader in Automated Optical Inspection, will be demonstrating their 850G Microelectronics AOI at Nepcon China in Shanghai from April 23rd to April 25th. As leaders in price and performance AOI, MVP has demonstrated a high degree of adaptability of their systems. MVP is celebrating 20 years of service to the industry in 2013 and will be exhibiting at Stand 1H65.
MVP will be demonstrating their 850G solution which provides inspection and metrology capability for Wire-bond, BGA, Packaging, Die, and Wafer bump,
The 850G provides resolutions down to 1um to allow the inspection of the smallest wires. For BGA Inspection, the 850G needs no cad data input as MVP’s new ease of use wizards allow for programming a wide variety of different BGA layouts in a matter of minutes. The BGA application allows for full AOI inspection of ball metrology, ball height, ball misplacement and presence, and substrate surface finish
MVP have also introduced several new applications within the last 12 months including leadframe based inspection for die placement, surface finish, epoxy and wirebond. In addition MVP have developed fully integrated magazine loader and unloader options for the 850G.
